5 Star Rating System -
Reviews get rated on a scale of 0 – 5. Zero being the worst, 5 being perfect.

Head Over Heels -
This denotes a HG item or something equally as sqee-able.

Vegan -

Means this company and all of it’s products are vegan or vegan friendly!!

Swatches-

All swatches of any loose/mineral shadows are done over a primer.  If something special is used, it’ll be stated.

All swatches of pressed shadows, blushes, etc etc are done on bare skin.

So, what do these categories mean, anyway?

Inspiration - Pictures that motivate me to try something new or work harder.

Song of the Day – Although I likely won’t post one EVERY day, the SotD is basically my current mood, how I’m feeling, and what I’m listening to.

Obsession – Whenever I find myself, well, obsessed about something new, or new to me, it’s libel to find it’s way under this category.

Outfit of the Day – I love Polyvore,  and I really try to create sets that are as close to possible to what I am actually wearing that day.

In Real Life – When I try a technique or a new product, I’ll write a little update on my experience on a ‘real’ face.

Reviews - Product reviews, makeup reviews, food reviews, all that sort of stuff.

I’m Reading – I read like MAD, usually three or four books a week, so from time to time I’ll post a little update.

I’m Watching – Although I don’t usually watch much TV, I do love me some iTunes.

I’m Wearing – If I discover a particularly lovely look or makeup combination, I’ll mention it.

Shopping – If I’ve picked up something new I want to show off, you’ll find it here.

Rambling – Basically I’m just talking to hear myself at this point.

Why don’t I post pictures of myself or my ‘LOTD’s or ‘EOTD’s?  Honestly?  I’m not crazy about having my face plastered all over my blog.  I’m here to write about stuff.  Plenty of beauty bloggers just write.  I’ll leave the tutorials to the gurus and those more adventurous then I.
